حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ آتَاهُ اللهُ مَالًا، فَلَمْ يُؤَدِّ زَكَاتَهُ، مُثِّلَ لَهُ مَالُهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ شُجَاعًا أَقْرَعَ، لَهُ زَبِيبَتَانِ، يَأْخُذُ بِلِهْزِمَتِهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ، ثُمَّ يَقُولُ: " أَنَا مَالُكَ، أَنَا كَنْزُكَ "، ثُمَّ تَلَا هَذِهِ الْآيَةَ {ولَا يَحْسَبَنَّ الَّذِينَ يَبْخَلُونَ بِمَا آتَاهُمُ اللهُ مِنْ فَضْلِهِ} [آل عمران: ١٨٠] إِلَى آخِرِ الْآيَةَ، (٢)،

Translation

English translation

Narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whoever Allah has given wealth and he does not pay its due, on the Day of Resurrection his wealth will be turned into a bald snake with two fangs in its mouth, and it will pursue its owner until it takes his hand into its mouth and begins to chew it, and it will say, "I am your wealth, I am your treasure." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) recited this verse: Those who are stingy with what Allah has given them out of His bounty should not think...
