حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ، قَالَ: حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ وَهْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ، عَنْ نَافِعِ بْنِ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " مُنْتَظِرُ الصَّلَاةِ مِنْ بَعْدِ الصَّلَاةِ، كَفَارِسٍ اشْتَدَّ بِهِ فَرَسُهُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ عَلَى كَشْحِهِ، تُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِ مَلَائِكَةُ اللهِ، مَا لَمْ يُحْدِثْ أَوْ يَقُومُ (١) ، وَهُوَ فِي الرِّبَاطِ، ، الْأَكْبَرِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: A person who waits for one prayer after another is like a warrior whose horse stands ready on its side in the path of Allah. For him, Allah's angels continue to pray for forgiveness as long as he does not lose his ablution or stand up from there, and this will be counted as the greatest vigilance (ribat akbar) among the most important forms of guarding.
