حَدَّثَنَا حَسَنٌ، حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو يُونُسَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ عَنِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ: " وَالَّذِي نَفْسُ مُحَمَّدٍ بِيَدِهِ، لَا يَسْمَعُ بِي أَحَدٌ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْأُمَّةِ يَهُودِيٌّ (٣) ، أَوْ نَصْرَانِيٌّ، ثُمَّ يَمُوتُ وَلَا يُؤْمِنُ بِالَّذِي أُرْسِلْتُ بِهِ، إِلَّا كَانَ مِنْ أَصْحَابِ النَّارِ " (٤)،
Translation
English translation
And the Prophet (ﷺ) said: By Him in Whose hand is the soul of Muhammad (ﷺ), if this word of mine reaches anyone from this Ummah, or any Jew or Christian, and he hears it and dies without believing in the revelation that has been sent to me, then he is of the people of Hell.
