حَدَّثَنَا هَارُونُ بْنُ مَعْرُوفٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرٌو يَعْنِي ابْنَ الْحَارِثِ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي حَبِيبٍ، أَنَّ سُلَيْمَانَ بْنَ يَسَارٍ، حَدَّثَهُ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا أُحِبُّ أَنَّ أُحُدَكُمْ هَذَا ذَهَبًا، أُنْفِقُ مِنْهُ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ، فَيَمُرُّ بِي ثَلَاثَةٌ وَعِنْدِي مِنْهُ شَيْءٌ، إِلَّا شَيْئًا (٢) أَرْصُدُهُ لِدَيْنٍ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (ﷺ) said: If the mountain of Uhud were to turn into gold for me, I would be pleased to spend it in the way of Allah, and not even three days should pass over me with a single dinar or dirham remaining with me, except for that which I keep aside for the repayment of a debt that is due upon me.
