حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي، عَنْ صَالِحٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ شِهَابٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبُو سَلَمَةَ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، أَنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَقَدْ أُقِيمَتِ الصَّلَاةُ، وَعُدِّلَتِ الصُّفُوفُ، حَتَّى إِذَا قَامَ فِي مُصَلَّاهُ، وَانْتَظَرْنَا أَنْ يُكَبِّرَ، انْصَرَفَ، فَقَالَ: " عَلَى مَكَانِكُمْ "، فَدَخَلَ بَيْتَهُ، وَمَكَثْنَا عَلَى هَيْئَتِنَا، حَتَّى خَرَجَ إِلَيْنَا يَنْطِفُ رَأْسُهُ (٢) ، وَقَدِ اغْتَسَلَ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the iqamah for prayer was being called and people began to straighten the rows. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) also arrived and stood at his place. We were waiting for the takbeer of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) when he said, "You all stay here," and the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) went away. We remained standing in the same way. When the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) returned, he had performed ghusl and drops of water were dripping from his head.
