حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا فُلَيْحٌ، عَنْ هِلَالِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ،، ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " إِنَّ الشَّيْخَ - قَالَ: يُونُسُ أَظُنُّهُ قَالَ - يَهْرَمُ وَيَضْعُفُ جِسْمُهُ، وَقَلْبُهُ شَابٌّ عَلَى حُبِّ اثْنَيْنِ: طُولِ الْحَيَاةِ، وَحُبِّ الْمَالِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: As a person grows old, his body becomes weak, but two things in him remain youthful: the love for a long life and the abundance of wealth and property.
