Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that a Bedouin man brought a roasted rabbit to the service of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ), along with chutney and curry. He placed all these things before the Noble Prophet (ﷺ). The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) withheld his hand and did not eat anything from it, and ordered the noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) to eat. The Bedouin also withheld his hand. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) asked him, "Why are you not eating?" He said, "I fast three days every month." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "If you want to fast, then fast on the white days (Ayyam al-Beed)."
