حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عُمَرَ، أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ، عَنْ سَعِيدٍ الْمَقْبُرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَا وَاللهِ لَا يُؤْمِنُ، لَا وَاللهِ لَا يُؤْمِنُ، لَا وَاللهِ لَا يُؤْمِنُ " قَالُوا: وَمَنْ ذَاكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: " جَارٌ لَا يَأْمَنُ جَارُهُ بَوَائِقَهُ "، قِيلَ: وَمَا بَوَائِقُهُ؟ قَالَ: " شَرُّهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said three times, "By Allah, that person is not a believer." The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, "O Messenger of Allah, who?" He said, "The neighbor whose neighbor is not safe from his harms." Someone asked about the meaning of "harms," so he said, "Evil."
