Original Arabic
وَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " قَالَ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: كَذَّبَنِي عَبْدِي وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ ذَلِكَ، وَشَتَمَنِي وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لَهُ ذَلِكَ، تَكْذِيبُهُ إِيَّايَ أَنْ يَقُولَ: فَلَنْ يُعِيدَنَا (٣) كَمَا بَدَأَنَا، وَأَمَّا شَتْمُهُ إِيَّايَ يَقُولُ: اتَّخَذَ، ، اللهُ وَلَدًا، وَأَنَا الصَّمَدُ الَّذِي لَمْ أَلِدْ وَلَمْ أُولَدْ، وَلَمْ يَكُنْ لِي كُفُوًا أَحَدٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
And the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: Allah Almighty says: My servant denies Me, though he should not do so, and he abuses Me, though he has no right to do so. As for his denial, it is that he says: Allah will not create me again as He created me the first time. And as for his abusing Me, it is that he says: Allah has taken a son, while I am the Self-Sufficient (As-Samad), who neither begets nor is begotten, and there is none comparable to Me.
