Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that once someone asked the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) about the reason for the naming of Jumu'ah (Friday). The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Jumu'ah is called Jumu'ah because on this day the clay of your father Adam (peace be upon him) was gathered. On this day the trumpet will be blown, on this day the dead will be resurrected, on this day there will be accountability, and the last three hours of this day are such that whoever supplicates to Allah during them, his supplication is surely accepted.
