حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ الْعَطَّارُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللهِ مَسْلَمَةُ الرَّازِيُّ، عَنْ أَبِي عَمْرٍو (٢) الْبَجَلِيِّ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ بْنِ سُفْيَانَ الثَّقَفِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ ابْنِ الْحَنَفِيَّةِ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى يُحِبُّ الْعَبْدَ الْمُفَتَّنَ التَّوَّابَ " (٣)، •
Translation
English translation
It was narrated from Muhammad Ibn al-Hanafiyyah that his father said:
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: “Allah loves the slave who falls into sin a great deal and repents a great deal.”
