English translation

It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The prayer of a person who experiences hadath is not accepted until he performs ablution. Upon hearing this, a man from Hadhramaut asked, "O Abu Hurairah! What is meant by hadath?" He replied: The passing of wind, whether with a soft or loud sound.
