حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ الْعَلَاءَ، يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْمُؤْمِنُ، الْمُؤْمِنُ - مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثًا - يَغَارُ يَغَارُ، وَاللهُ أَشَدُّ غَيْرًا " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said two or three times: A believer is possessive (protective of honor), and Allah is even more possessive than him.
