It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) went to the graveyard. Upon reaching there, he greeted the inhabitants of the graves and said, "Peace be upon you, O dwellers of the abode of the believers! InshaAllah, we too shall join you." Then he said, "I wish that we could see our brothers." The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) said, "O Messenger of Allah, are we not your brothers?" The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said, "You are my companions; my brothers are those who have not yet come, and I will be waiting for them at the Hawd (Pond) of Kawthar." The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), how will you recognize those of your followers who have not yet come?" The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Tell me, if a man has a horse with a white, radiant forehead among black horses, will he not recognize his horse?" The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) replied, "Why not!" The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Then those people will also come on the Day of Resurrection with radiant, white foreheads due to the effects of ablution, and I will be waiting for them at the Hawd of Kawthar." Then he said, "Remember, some people among you will be driven away from my Hawd just as a lost camel is chased away. I will call out to them, 'Come here!' But it will be said, 'They changed the religion after you.' So I will say, 'Away with them, away with them!'"
