حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاذُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي رَافِعٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ يَعْلَمُ أَنَّهُ إِذَا شَهِدَ الصَّلَاةَ مَعِي كَانَ لَهُ أَعْظَمُ مِنْ شَاةٍ سَمِينَةٍ أَوْ شَاتَيْنِ لَفَعَلَ، فَمَا يُصِيبُ مِنَ الْأَجْرِ أَفْضَلُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: If any one of you were certain that by joining me in prayer he would receive a large, fat bone or two excellent houses, he would surely participate in the prayer; whereas the reward he actually receives is even greater than that.
