حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، وَحُسَيْنٌ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا عَوْفٌ، عَنْ أَبِي قَحْذَمٍ، قَالَ: " وُجِدَ فِي زَمَنِ زِيَادٍ أَوِ ابْنِ زِيَادٍ صُرَّةٌ (١) فِيهَا حَبٌّ أَمْثَالُ النَّوَى (٢) عَلَيْهِ مَكْتُوبٌ: هَذَا نَبَتَ فِي زَمَانٍ كَانَ يُعْمَلُ فِيهِ بِالْعَدْلِ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
Abu Qahdham says that during the rule of Ziyad or Ibn Ziyad, a pouch was found somewhere in which there was a seed like a date pit, and it was written on it that this was grown at a time when justice and fairness were practiced.
