Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: " نُهِيَ عَنِ الِاخْتِصَارِ فِي الصَّلَاةِ " فَقُلْنَا لِهِشَامٍ: ذَكَرَهُ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ؟ فَقَالَ بِرَأْسِهِ، أَيْ: نَعَمْ (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) forbade placing hands on the waist during prayer.
