Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامُ بْنُ يَحْيَى، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ آتَاهُ اللهُ مِنْ هَذَا الْمَالِ شَيْئًا مِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ يَسْأَلَهُ، فَلْيَقْبَلْهُ، فَإِنَّمَا هُوَ رِزْقٌ سَاقَهُ اللهُ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ إِلَيْهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: If Allah grants someone wealth and property without him asking for it, he should accept it, because it is sustenance that Allah has sent to him.
