Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، أَخْبَرَنَا هَمَّامٌ، عَنْ فَرْقَدٍ، عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الشِّخِّيرِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: " أَكْذَبُ النَّاسِ - أَوْ مِنْ أَكْذَبِ النَّاسِ - الصَّوَّاغُونَ وَالصَّبَّاغُونَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The greatest liars are dyers and goldsmiths.
