Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ مُبَارَكٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ هَمَّامِ بْنِ مُنَبِّهٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَنَّهُ " كَانَ إِذَا اسْتَنْشَقَ أَدْخَلَ الْمَاءَ فِي مَنْخِرَيْهِ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that when the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) put water in his nose, he would insert water into his nostrils.
