حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بِشْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ، وَأَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ خَيْرٌ؟ قَالَ: " إِيمَانٌ بِاللهِ وَرَسُولِهِ " قَالَ: ثُمَّ أَيٌّ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: " الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ سَنَامُ الْعَمَلِ " قَالَ: ثُمَّ أَيٌّ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ قَالَ: " حَجٌّ مَبْرُورٌ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that once someone asked the Holy Prophet (ﷺ): "Which deed is the most virtuous?" The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) replied: "To have faith in Allah and His Messenger." The questioner asked: "Then which deed is most virtuous?" He said: "Jihad in the way of Allah is the hump of deeds." The questioner asked: "After that?" He said: "A righteous Hajj."
