حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ كَيْسَانَ، عَنْ أَبِي حَازِمٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ: رَجُلٌ خَطَبَ امْرَأَةً، فَقَالَ - يَعْنِي النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ -: " انْظُرْ إِلَيْهَا، فَإِنَّ فِي أَعْيُنِ الْأَنْصَارِ شَيْئًا " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man sent a marriage proposal to a woman. The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said to the man, "Look at her, for there is something defective in the eyes of the Ansar."
