حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ بَكْرٍ، وَعَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، قَالَا: أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ جَعْدَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو الْقَارِيِّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: وَرَبِّ هَذَا الْبَيْتِ، مَا أَنَا نَهَيْتُ عَنْ صِيَامِ يَوْمِ الْجُمُعَةِ، وَلَكِنْ مُحَمَّدٌ نَهَى عَنْهُ، وَرَبِّ هَذَا الْبَيْتِ، مَا أَنَا قُلْتُ: " مَنْ أَدْرَكَهُ الصُّبْحُ جُنُبًا فَلْيُفْطِرْ "، وَلَكِنْ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، ، قَالَهُ قَالَ عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، فِي حَدِيثِهِ: إِنَّ يَحْيَى بْنَ جَعْدَةَ، أَخْبَرَهُ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو الْقَارِيُّ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that I did not prohibit fasting on Friday, but by the Lord of the Ka'bah, Muhammad (peace be upon him) prohibited it. By the Lord of the Ka'bah, I did not say that whoever enters the morning in a state of major impurity should not fast, but by the Lord of the Ka'bah! This statement was made by Muhammad (peace be upon him).
