حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، وَالثَّوْرِيُّ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، عَنِ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " الْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ، وَالْمُؤَذِّنُ أَمِينٌ، اللهُمَّ أَرْشِدِ الْأَئِمَّةَ، وَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: The imam is responsible and the muezzin is trustworthy. O Allah, guide the imams and forgive the muezzins.
