Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ، مِنْ بَنِي لَيْثٍ، عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ غَسَّلَ مَيِّتًا، فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever gives a bath to a deceased person should also perform ghusl (ritual bath).
