Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ رَجُلٍ يُقَالُ لَهُ: أَبُو إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ غَسَّلَ مَيِّتًا، فَلْيَغْتَسِلْ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever gives a bath to a deceased person should also perform ghusl (ritual bath).
