حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنِي أَبِي، أَخْبَرَنَا مِينَاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: كُنْتُ جَالِسًا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَجَاءَ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، الْعَنْ حِمْيَرَ، فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ، ثُمَّ جَاءَهُ مِنْ نَاحِيَةٍ أُخْرَى، فَأَعْرَضَ عَنْهُ، وَهُوَ يَقُولُ: الْعَنْ حِمْيَرَ، فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " رَحِمَ اللهُ حِمْيَرَ (١) ، أَفْوَاهُهُمْ سَلَامٌ، وَأَيْدِيهِمْ طَعَامٌ، أَهْلُ أَمْنٍ وَإِيمَانٍ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I was sitting in the service of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) when a man came and said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), curse the tribe of Himyar." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) turned his face away from him. He came from the other side and said the same thing again. The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) again turned away and said, "May Allah Almighty send His mercy upon the tribe of Himyar. On their tongues is peace and in their hands is food (for others), and they are people of security and faith."
