حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أَخْبَرَنَا مَعْمَرٌ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنِ ابْنِ الْمُسَيِّبِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: سَأَلَ رَجُلٌ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: أَيُّ الْأَعْمَالِ أَفْضَلُ؟ قَالَ: " الْإِيمَانُ بِاللهِ " قَالَ: ثُمَّ مَاذَا؟ قَالَ: " الْجِهَادُ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ " قَالَ: ثُمَّ مَاذَا؟ قَالَ: " ثُمَّ حَجٌّ مَبْرُورٌ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that once someone asked the Holy Prophet (ﷺ): "Which deed is the most virtuous?" The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) replied: "To have faith in Allah." The questioner asked: "Then which deed is most virtuous?" He replied: "Jihad in the way of Allah." The questioner asked: "After that?" He replied: "A Hajj that is accepted (by Allah)."
