حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ، وَيَعْلَى، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرٍو، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " فِي هَذِهِ (١) الْحَبَّةِ السَّوْدَاءِ شِفَاءٌ مِنْ كُلِّ دَاءٍ إِلَّا السَّامَ " قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَمَا السَّامُ؟ قَالَ: " الْمَوْتُ " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: In this black seed there is a cure for every disease except as-sam. People asked, O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), what is as-sam? The Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: Death.
