حَدَّثَنَا يَعْلَى، وَيَزِيدُ، قَالَا: أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " النَّاسُ تَبَعٌ لِقُرَيْشٍ فِي هَذَا الْأَمْرِ، خِيَارُهُمْ تَبَعٌ لِخِيَارِهِمْ، وَشِرَارُهُمْ تَبَعٌ لِشِرَارِهِمْ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: In matters of this religion, people follow the Quraysh; the good follow the good among them, and the bad follow the bad among them.
