حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، عَنْ مَعْمَرٍ، عَنِ الزُّهْرِيِّ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، أَنَّ نَبِيَّ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَةً مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَطْلُعَ الشَّمْسُ، فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَهَا، وَمَنْ أَدْرَكَ رَكْعَةً مِنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ قَبْلَ أَنْ تَغْرُبَ الشَّمْسُ، فَقَدْ أَدْرَكَهَا " (٢)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Hurairah (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever catches one rak'ah of the Fajr prayer before sunrise has caught that prayer, and whoever catches one rak'ah of the Asr prayer before sunset has caught that prayer.
