حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْأَعْلَى، حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: ذَكَرُوا عِنْدَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ رَجُلًا، أَوْ أَنَّ رَجُلًا قَالَ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِنَّ فُلَانًا نَامَ الْبَارِحَةَ وَلَمْ يُصَلِّ حَتَّى أَصْبَحَ. قَالَ: " بَالَ الشَّيْطَانُ فِي أُذُنِهِ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that once, in the presence of the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ), people or a person mentioned someone and said, "O Messenger of Allah (ﷺ)! So-and-so slept the whole night and did not even offer the Fajr prayer until morning came." The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said, "Satan has urinated in his ear."
