حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " أَنَا أَوْلَى النَّاسِ بِعِيسَى ابْنِ مَرْيَمَ؛ الْأَنْبِيَاءُ كُلُّهُمْ بَنُو عَلَّاتٍ، وَلَيْسَ بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَ عِيسَى نَبِىٌّ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Among all people, I am the closest to Jesus (peace be upon him). All the prophets (peace be upon them) are paternal brothers. There is no prophet between me and Jesus (peace be upon him).
