حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَفْصٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا وَرْقَاءُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَمَّا خَلَقَ اللهُ الْخَلْقَ، كَتَبَ كِتَابًا، فَهُوَ عِنْدَهُ فَوْقَ الْعَرْشِ: إِنَّ رَحْمَتِي سَبَقَتْ غَضَبِي " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (ﷺ) said: When Allah decided to bring the creation into existence, He wrote in a book which is with Him above the Throne: "My mercy prevails over My wrath."
