حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا نَفَعَنِي مَالٌ قَطُّ، مَا نَفَعَنِي مَالُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ " فَبَكَى أَبُو بَكْرٍ، وَقَالَ: هَلْ أَنَا وَمَالِي إِلَّا لَكَ يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ؟ (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "No one's wealth has benefited me as much as the wealth of Abu Bakr has benefited me." Upon hearing this, Abu Bakr (may Allah be pleased with him) began to weep and said, "O Messenger of Allah! I and my wealth are only for you."
