حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ، وَوَكِيعٌ، وَمُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ، قَالُوا: حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، وَابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ، عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَيْسَ مَوْلُودٌ يُولَدُ إِلَّا عَلَى هَذِهِ الْمِلَّةِ " وَقَالَ وَكِيعٌ، مَرَّةً: " عَلَى الْمِلَّةِ " (١)، •
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Every child is born upon pure nature (fitrah).
