Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: The prayer that a man offers in congregation is superior by twenty degrees or more than the prayer he offers alone at home or in the market. And its detail is that when any one of you performs ablution and does it well, then comes to the mosque with no other purpose except for prayer, and it is only the prayer that brings him out, then for every step he takes, one rank is raised for him and one sin is forgiven, until he enters the mosque in this manner. Then, when he enters the mosque, as long as he waits for the prayer, he is counted as being in prayer, and the angels continue to pray for him as long as he remains seated at his place of prayer, saying: O Allah, forgive him; O Allah, have mercy on him; O Allah, turn Your special attention to him—provided he does not harm anyone or lose his ablution.
