حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ، عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، يَبْلُغُ بِهِ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا تَلَقَّوْا الْبَيْعَ، وَلَا تُصَرُّوا الْغَنَمَ وَالْإِبِلَ لِلْبَيْعِ، فَمَنِ ابْتَاعَهَا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ، فَهُوَ بِخَيْرِ النَّظَرَيْنِ: إِنْ شَاءَ أَمْسَكَهَا، وَإِنْ شَاءَ رَدَّهَا بِصَاعِ تَمْرٍ، لَا سَمْرَاءَ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Do not make deals with traders outside (the market), and do not tie the teats of a goat or she-camel in order to sell it at a higher price. Whoever (falls victim to this deception and) buys such a she-camel or goat, then he has the choice of two things, whichever is better for him: either he keeps the animal with himself (and settles the matter), or he returns the animal to its owner and gives a sa’ (measure) of dates along with it.
