حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ، حَدَّثَنَا عُمَارَةُ، عَنْ أَبِي زُرْعَةَ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ سَأَلَ النَّاسَ، ، أَمْوَالَهُمْ تَكَثُّرًا، فَإِنَّمَا يَسْأَلُ جَمْرًا، فَلْيَسْتَقِلَّ مِنْهُ أَوْ لِيَسْتَكْثِرْ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: Whoever asks people for money in order to accumulate wealth (so that the amount of money he has increases), let him remember that he is asking for embers; now whether he asks for a little or a lot.
