حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ، وَأَبُو النَّضْرِ، قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ، عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُهَاجِرٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ بَابَاهُ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: كُنْتُ عِنْدَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَذُكِرَتِ الْأَعْمَالُ، فَقَالَ: " مَا مِنْ أَيَّامٍ الْعَمَلُ فِيهِنَّ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ هَذِهِ الْعَشْرِ "، قَالُوا: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، وَلَا الْجِهَادُ؟ قَالَ: فَأَكْبَرَهُ، قَالَ: " وَلَا الْجِهَادُ، إِلَّا أَنْ يَخْرُجَ رَجُلٌ بِنَفْسِهِ وَمَالِهِ فِي سَبِيلِ اللهِ، ثُمَّ تَكُونَ، ، مُهْجَةُ نَفْسِهِ فِيهِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I was sitting in the service of the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) when the mention of deeds arose. The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "There are no days in which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days." Someone asked, "Not even Jihad in the way of Allah?" He replied: "Not even Jihad in the way of Allah, except for a person who goes out with his life and wealth and does not return with anything, until his blood is shed." (The narrator says that "these days" refers to the first ten days of Dhul-Hijjah.)
