Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمَّادٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَوَانَةَ، عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ، حَدَّثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ قَيْسٍ، عَنْ أَبِي حَرْبٍ الدَّيْلِيِّ (٢) ، سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللهِ بْنَ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِي، يَقُولُ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَا أَظَلَّتِ الْخَضْرَاءُ، وَلَا أَقَلَّتِ الْغَبْرَاءُ، مِنْ رَجُلٍ أَصْدَقَ لَهْجَةً مِنْ أَبِي ذَرٍّ " (٣)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that he heard the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) say: "There is no man more truthful on the face of the earth and under the shade of the sky than Abu Dharr (may Allah be pleased with him)."
