حَدَّثَنَا قُتَيْبَةُ، حَدَّثَنَا رِشْدِينُ بْنُ سَعْدٍ، عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ ثَوْبَانَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ أَبِي رُقَيَّةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ الْعَاصِي، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " لَا عَدْوَى، وَلَا طِيَرَةَ، وَلَا هَامَةَ، وَلَا حَسَدَ، وَالْعَيْنُ حَقٌّ " (١)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "There is no reality in contagion of disease, bad omens, worms in the skull of the dead, or envy; however, the evil eye is indeed true."
