It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said: "Whoever is deterred from doing something by bad omens should know that he has committed shirk." The noble companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, "O Messenger of Allah! What is its expiation?" The Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "He should say: O Allah, all good is from You, all omens are from You, and there is no deity except You."
