حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَهَّابِ، حَدَّثَنَا حُسَيْنٌ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ جَدِّهِ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا سَأَلَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَالَ: لَيْسَ لِي مَالٌ، وَلِي يَتِيمٌ؟ فَقَالَ: " كُلْ مِنْ مَالِ يَتِيمِكَ، غَيْرَ مُسْرِفٍ وَلَا مُبَذِّرٍ (٣) ، وَلَا مُتَأَثِّلٍ مَالًا، وَمِنْ غَيْرِ أَنْ تَقِيَ مَالَكَ - أَوْ قَالَ - تَفْدِيَ مَالَكَ بِمَالِهِ " شَكَّ حُسَيْنٌ (٤)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that a man asked the Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, "I do not have any wealth, but I have an orphaned nephew." The Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "You may eat from your orphaned nephew's wealth that which does not fall under extravagance," or he said: "Do not make your wealth a ransom in exchange for his wealth."
