حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حَرْمَلَةَ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ شُعَيْبٍ، قَالَ: سَمِعْتُ أَبِي، يُحَدِّثُ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَقُولُ: " الرَّاكِبُ شَيْطَانٌ، وَالرَّاكِبَانِ شَيْطَانَانِ، وَالثَّلَاثَةُ رَكْبٌ " (١)،

Translation

English translation

It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "A single rider is a devil, and two riders are two devils, and three riders are [companions]."
