حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ، حَدَّثَنَا هَمَّامٌ، حَدَّثَنَا قَتَادَةُ، عَنْ شَهْرٍ (٣) ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " مَنْ شَرِبَ الْخَمْرَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ، وَمَنْ (٤) شَرِبَ الثَّانِيَةَ فَاجْلِدُوهُ، ثُمَّ إِنْ شَرِبَ الثَّالِثَةَ، ، فَاجْلِدُوهُ، ثُمَّ إِنْ شَرِبَ الرَّابِعَةَ فَاقْتُلُوهُ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Whoever drinks alcohol, flog him. If he drinks again, then flog him. If he drinks a third time, then flog him. And on the fourth occasion, he said: 'Kill him.'"
