Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا عَتَّابُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ، أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ، أَخْبَرَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ، حَدَّثَنِي عَمْرُو بْنُ شُعَيْبٍ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " كَانَ لَا يُصَافِحُ النِّسَاءَ فِي الْبَيْعَةِ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr, may Allah be pleased with him, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, did not shake hands with women when taking their pledge of allegiance.
