Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ شَهْرِ بْنِ حَوْشَبٍ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ: " الْقَتِيلُ دُونَ مَالِهِ شَهِيدٌ " (١)،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever is killed while protecting his wealth is a martyr."
