حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ عَلِيٍّ، قَالَ: جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي نَذَرْتُ أَنْ أَنْحَرَ نَاقَتِي وَكَيْتَ وَكَيْتَ. قَالَ: " أَمَّا نَاقَتُكَ فَانْحَرْهَا، وَأَمَّا كَيْتَ وَكَيْتَ فَمِنَ الشَّيْطَانِ " (٣)، ،
Translation
English translation
It was narrated that `Ali (رضي الله عنه) said:
A man came to the Prophet (ﷺ) and said: I vowed to sacrifice my she-camel and to do such and such. He said: `As for your she camel, sacrifice it. But as for such and such, it is from the Shaitan.`
