Original Arabic
حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ، عَنْ خَالِهِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ طَلْحَةَ، عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو، قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ: " مَنْ أُرِيدَ مَالُهُ بِغَيْرِ حَقٍّ، فَقُتِلَ دُونَهُ، فَهُوَ شَهِيدٌ " (٢)، ،
Translation
English translation
It is narrated from Ibn Amr (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever is killed while protecting his wealth is a martyr."
